Dedicated Private Assisted Living Services provides in-home personal care services for the elderly community who require assistance with their activities of daily living (adl) as well as instrumental activities of daily living (iadl). Our goal is to offer such exceptional care that our clients and thier families feel, comfortable, respected and well cared for.

ADL -Activities of Daily Living
Bathing & Hygiene: Bathing or washing according to the established plan of care takes into consideration the frequency and essentials used to maintain propper hygene, skin protection, grooming and maintainance of dental and hair requirements.
Dressing: When possible, (unless specified in the care plan) dressing is done to or clients liking and preferences.
Eating: Eating and proper hydration is extremely important and life changing. Proper nutrition and following dietary guidelines can be the difference in longevity and a healthier life. Moving food and drink successfully from a plate or cup to the mouth can also be challenging depending on varing factors such as aging or medical complications.
Mobility / Transferring: Moving independently between positions, such as getting in/out of bed, standing up, or walking.
Toileting: Getting to and from the bathroom, using the toilet correctly, and cleaning oneself.
Continence: The physical ability to control bladder and bowel functions.
IADL - Instrumental Activities of Daily Living
These tasks are more comprehensive and they require higher-level thinking and organizational skills:
Meal Prep & Cooking: Planning, preparing, and safely serving adequate meals.
RN Medication Management: Collecting prescriptions and taking the correct doses at the right times.
Financial Management: Budgeting, balancing accounts, and paying bills on time.
Light Housekeeping & Laundry: Cleaning the home, washing dishes, and doing laundry.
Shopping & Errands: Grocery shopping and purchasing necessary clothing or personal care items.
Transportation: Driving, utilizing public transit, or coordinating rides
What does this mean?
We are here to serve. Our goal is to hlep make this process as stress free as possible. After our initial consultation and assessment has been completed, you will be provided with a detailed, step by step Plan of Care. Family members also have an opportunity for input if possible.
A detailed plan and schedule is included with every service package.
Do I have to choose a strict service plan?
No. We can begin with a standardized, and and specialties or you can have us provide individual services a la carte.
What if I change my mind?
If you change your mind and wish to upgrade your service, GREAT!, we are happy to be of service.
If you change your mind and wish to downgrade or cancel your service, there is a 15% fee if you cancel within 48hrs of starting your shift. There are no refunds once a Plan of Care has been implemented and a care member has been asigned.
